DAISY Style Workshop

G'day friends,

Welcome to the jlbCREATIVE "DAISY Style" online workshop!

This laid back course takes you through the cumulative wealth of tips/tricks and techniques I used to develop 5 Styles of illustration that feature most in my art journaling work - all in the style of jlbCREATIVE "style chameleon" character "Daisy". This course will teach you not only how to replicate these illustration styles, but how to expand on them through experimentation and creating derivative works.

We will cover the simple foundation lessons in drawing a whimsical feminine face at the top of the workshop, moving forward with all the assumed knowledge we will need to dive deeper into learning the 5 popular jlbCREATIVE illustration styles featured in this course:

Classic Style
Swatchdoll Style
Retro Kawaii Style
Bèbè Style and
3/4 Fashion Style

We will look at the inquisitive and intuitive creative process I used to create the styles, exercising our skills to sketch many derivative works; developing on the styles for a deeper understanding of how curiosity and play lead to discovery.

Each lesson is broken down into manageable steps for a streamlined, self-paced, learning process, appropriate for all skill levels. The course is all sketching, so you will only need basic drawing supplies. Each video is also downloadable and there are printable PDF worksheets and scanned lesson references to compliment your video tutorials.

The chronological format of this course ensures that, as you progress, you are using and building on the skills acquired from the lessons before. The workshop concludes with a Student Gallery section for you to share your work with other students.
